What You Need

  • 3 or more players

Instructions

Step 1.

Choose the order of the players (i.e. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc).

Step 2.

First player will say a name of an animal.

Step 3.

Second player will give a name of another animal starting with the last letter of the first player’s animal.

Step 4.

Continue the same process until one player fails to give a name within 10 seconds.

Step 5.

The game restarts with the player who failed the first round.

More Fun Ideas and Expansions

Create a customized Alphabet game with these expanded ideas:

  • Play this with younger kids with extend time and hints from the parents. This is just to enhance their alphabet mastery and animal vocabulary.
  • For older kids, you can opt to give a task as a consequence for the player who fails each round.
  • Try another category for your alphabet game. Example, use food if your kids like to cook and eat.
