Let’s go on a picnic! This memory game will develop a specific skill set of children— attention, listening and memory skills. This a fun game to play on the road to a family vacation.
What You Need
2 or more players
All the players sit together. This is a memory game so everyone must listen attentively to what each player will say.
The first player will start by saying “I am going on a picnic” and then picks an item he wants to bring. Example, “I am going on a picnic and I will bring an umbrella.”
The next player repeats what the first player said and adds his own item on the list. Example, “I am going on a picnic and I will bring an umbrella and a blanket.”
The succeeding players will follow the same pattern — memorizing and adding one item to the list at their turn.
The player loses if he forgets an item on the list. That player then begins the next round.
